Super 5 is a lotto game in Malta. It is a game of chance in which five numbers are randomly drawn from a field of numbers from 1 to 42. To win just match at least three of your selected numbers on one ticket to the numbers drawn. Player may play Super 5 every day and up to one hour before the weekly draw.
Every Wednesday at 19:10, five numbers are randomly drawn in the presence of a Notary Public, members of the public, a representative of the Lotteries & Gaming Authority, as well as representatives of Maltco Lotteries Limited.
How to play
In order to play just fill in a Super 5 coupon indicating your selected numbers and playing options. Submit the completed coupon at any one of the Maltco Lotteries Limited Points of Sale (Lotto Booths) in Malta and Gozo. Upon payment, the player will be given a ticket; this is the only proof-of-purchase which is required to claim your winnings.
If a public holiday falls on a Wednesday, the company may decide to hold the draw on the preceding Tuesday. If the preceding Tuesday is also a public holiday, the draw may take place the following Thursday.
The Super 5 coupon
A coupon is a form which is filled in by players to indicate their selection of numbers and playing options. On the coupon, the numbers and different playing options are shown in red boxes. Mark your selection using any mark within the box (for example with an x or a ˜). Do not write outside the box when marking the coupon. Should the player wish to cancel one of the Game Areas on the coupon just mark the VOID box in that particular Game Area.
The coupon must be filled using a blue or black pen only. Do not use pencil, red ink, or a fountain pen to mark the coupon. No correction fluid should be used on the coupon.
Coupons are available FREE of charge at any Maltco Lotteries Limited Point of Sale (Lotto Booth). Your coupon may be used, with the same selections, more than once. Just take care not to fold it, as this may distort the selections and/or make the coupon unreadable.
